MAX16840ATB+T Beschreibung
The MAX16840ATB+T evaluation kit (EV kit) is a 16-channel, constant-current LED driver capable of driving 40mA to each of the 16 LED strings, with a total forward voltage of up to 32V. Based on the MAX16809 device, it provides 16 constant-current-sinking outputs with sink current settable using a single resistor. The EV kit incorporates a high-performance, current-mode pulse-width-modulator (PWM) controller to implement a DC-DC converter generating the supply voltage to drive the LED strings.
Operating at supply voltages between 9V and 16V, and within a temperature range of 0°C to +70°C, the MAX16840ATB+T EV kit includes features such as PWM dimming control, adaptive control of the LED supply voltage based on the operating voltage of the LED strings, a built-in clock generator, and a low-current shutdown. The kit is fully assembled and tested for convenience.
