MC33PF8100A0ES Beschreibung
The PF8100/PF8200 PMIC family is designed for high-performance processing applications such as infotainment,telematics, clusters, vehicle networking, ADAS, vision and sensor fusion.
Two versions are available to address different market needs:
- The PF8200 with functional safety to comply with the ISO 26262 standard, provides a powerful and flexiblesolution for ASIL-B (D) automotive applications.
- The PF8100 is the basic version of this product, with power management and digital control without thefunctional safety features for systems not requiring ASIL-B compliance.
This family is ideal for i.MX 8, i.MX 8X and S32V processors’ based applications and suitable for powering Layerscape LS1043A and other high-performance processors. Itoffers seven high-efficiency buck converters and four linear regulators to power the processor, memory andmiscellaneous peripherals.

- I2C CRC and write protection mechanism
- Analog built-in self-test (ABIST)
- Supplies, sequencing, and specific functions can be programmed by One Time programmable (OTP) memory
- Standard Predefined OTP supporting popular MCU can be found in data sheet under “ordering information” chapter
- During development phase, Customized OTP part can be programmed using the KITPF8200FRDMPGM: board
- Custom OTP can be provided for production. Please contact your NXP sales channel (NXP or your distributor)
- Custom OTP form can be downloaded PF8x00 Custom OTP Request Form
- This product is included in the NXP Product Longevity program ensuring a stable supply of products for your embedded designs. Automotive target market derivatives (MC33PF8100/8200) are included in the 15-year program and Industrial target market derivatives (MC34PF8100/8200) are included in the 10-year program.
