ALSC Changes Board of Directors and Appoints Interim Chief Executive Officer

Alliance Semiconductor Corporation (OTCBB: ALSC) is pleased to announce its newest member to its Board of Directors, Mr. Neil. S. Subin.  The Board of Directors of ALSC now consists of Mr. Eric W. Fangmann, Mr. Alan B. Howe, Mr. Steven D. Scheiwe and Mr. Neil S. Subin.  Additionally, the Board of Directors of the ALSC has appointed Mr. Alan B. Howe as its interim Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Neil S. Subin is President and Managing Director of Trendex Capital Management, a position he has held since 1992 and Chairman of Broadbill Investment Partners, LP, both private investment firms.  He, is a director of Institutional Financial Markets, Inc. since December 2010, a director of Phosphate Holdings, Inc. since November 2010, a director of Federal Mogul Corporation since 2008,  a director of FiberTower Corporation  since March 2014 and a director of Hancock Fabrics, Inc. since 2009.  Mr. Subin has considerable experience and insight regarding  investments in public and private companies and has provided the Board of Directors with a valuable and balanced perspective. Additionally, Mr. Subin’s experience serving on other boards and on the audit and compensation committees of such boards is a great contribution to the Board of Directors of ALSC and well qualifies Mr. Subin to serve on the Audit, Management Review and Compensation, and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Alan B. Howe has served as a director of ALSC since 2006.  He has served as the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Broadband Initiatives LLC, a boutique corporate advisory and consulting firm, since 2001.  Currently, he also has a consulting arrangement as Interim Chief Executive Officer at Sunrise Telecom, Inc.  since August 2012.  Sunrise sold all of its operating assets in June of 2013.  He served as Vice President of Strategic and Wireless Business Development for Covad Communications, Inc., a national broadband telecommunications company from May 2005 to October 2008.  He served as CFO and Vice President of Corporate Development for Teletrac, Inc. from April 1995 to April 2001.  Previously, he held various executive management positions for Sprint PCS, and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company.  He is currently a board member and Vice Chairman of Selectica, Inc. and serves on the public boards of Qualstar and Data I/O and on a number of private boards.  He has a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Indiana University and a Bachelors of Science – Business Administration and Marketing from University of Illinois.
