This reference design is a simple, wearable, multi-parameter patient monitor that uses a single-chip biosensor front-end AFE4900 device for simultaneous electrocardiogram (ECG) and photoplethysmography (PPG) measurements. Use CC2640R2F device (supports BLE 4.2 and 5) to transmit measured data to a remote location. This reference design runs on a single CR3032 battery and provides 30 days of battery life. Raw data allows users to calculate heart rate, blood oxygen concentration (SpO2), pulse transit time (PTT), and ECG. Two on-board light-emitting diodes (LEDs) indicate to the user low battery detection and ECG lead-out detection.
