Phoenix Contact DIN Rail Safety Relays

Phoenix Contact's offering of DIN Rail Safety Relays now include relays that are designed to operate with fail-safe controls in process applications. The new additions meet either Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 or SIL 2, according to IEC 61508. To ensure that SIL levels are maintained, a normally closed status contact can be wired to a SIL-rated controller to perform an automated "proof test." These Safety Relays from Phoenix Contact measure just 17.5 mm wide, and are available with either pluggable and coded screw or spring-cage terminals.
